GASP (Global Access to Spirometry Project) in a Box

This document outlines a practical, concrete strategy for developing a program to perform diagnostic spirometry and provide asthma education in developing nations as well as in underserviced areas in developed nations. It is based on experience gathered from developing such a program in Guyana, South America by a specialist respiratory team from Vancouver, BC, Canada in conjunction with the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation and the Guyana Ministry of Health Services.
